1° Major Assignment "Recycling"

Recycling is a physicochemical or mechanical process consisting in subjecting a product already used a total treatment cycle for a new product.
Recycling may seem boring, ordinary, typical and tired but is an important issue to keep our planet's life as well as our animals and future generations, something important is not only recycle but to cooperate in our community to expand our goal of a better world, it is possible that there are now no longer sufficient garbage containers for disposal or low-income communities suffer economically strong odors, diseases of the garbage, sometimes even aggressive animals around etc. . is our chance to do something for us and post: what we know as family, friends and neighbors. They have done much research on this problem trying to find easy ways to combat or practical reality on our garbage, but nothing will be efficient but we do our part, let's see it as two simple types of waste separate cost us nothing more than a few seconds to decide which trash will each food or food utensils.
If you don’t have enough with the last two paragraph let’s mention an expert opinion Mr Jon D. Johnston: -“Nobody wants a landfill sited anywhere near them, including in rural areas,” said Jon D. Johnston, a materials management branch chief for the Environmental Protection Agency who is helping to lead the zero-waste movement in the Southeast. “We’ve come to this realization that landfill is valuable and we can’t bury things that don’t need to be buried.”
Recycling is part of the strategy of the Three R.
Reduce, actions to reduce the production of objects become waste.
Reuse, actions that allow reusing a product.
Recycle, all operations of waste collection and treatment that allow reintroduce a life cycle.
Recycling has three ecological consequences:
Reduction of waste volume, and thus cause the pollution.
Preservation of natural resources, because recycle material can be reused.
Reduction of costs to the production of new goods.

Friends of the Earth

In 1983, when most places hadn’t yet instituted curbside recycling programs, Massachusetts passed a bottle deposit law that helped combat litter and removed recyclable material from the waste stream.

Now, some state residents are saying the deposit law should be expanded, while others contest that it would only add shine to a worn out system.

If the measure is extended, “over a billion containers would be pulled from the waste stream,” said Greg Cooper, director of consumer programs at the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (DEP).

The bill would extend the reach of the deposit law from a 5-cent deposit on bottles of sparkling water, soda pop, beer and other malt beverages to include noncarbonated offerings such as juice, water, iced tea and sports drinks.

At least 20 businesses, trade associations and unions have formed Real Recycling for Massachusetts to oppose the bill.

Reaching down to my household and yours is the greatest challenge!!!!!!!!!

Across the nation, an antigarbage strategy known as zero wasted is moving from the fringes to the mainstream, taking hold in school cafeterias, national parks, restaurants, stadiums and corporations.
The movement is simple in concept if not always in execution: Produce less waste. Shun polystyrene foam containers or any other packaging that is not biodegradable. Recycle or compost whatever you can.
Americans and Mexicans are still the undisputed champions of trash, dumping 4.6 pounds per person per day, according to the E.P.A.’s most recent figures. More than half of that ends up in landfills or is incinerated.
Josephine Miller, an environmental official for the city of Santa Monica, Calif., which bans the use of polystyrene foam containers, said that some citizens had unwittingly put the plant-based alternatives into cans for recycling, where they had melted and had gummed up the works. Yellowstone and some institutions have asked manufacturers to mark some biodegradable items with a brown or green stripe.
YOU AND ME HAVE TO DO SOMETHING IS NOT ENOUGH RECYCLING,IN OTHER WORDS WE'VE TO ACT NOW IT OUR PLANET IS YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD, IS YOUR FAMILY IS YOUR FUTURE HERE

I think . . . IT'S TIME

Global warming has become the most complicated issue facing the world. On one hand, warnings from the scientific community are increasing, and the dangers from the ongoing buildup of human-related greenhouse gases are higher — produced mainly by the burning of fossil fuels and forests. THAT’S WHY YOU NEED TO RECYCLE
Let’s begin. . . Not all documents that can be recycled should be, because, maybe you have documents with personally information; an example of it could be: security numbers, dates of birth, passport numbers or home addresses.
On the other hand there are some tips for recycling like:
Do not put any shredded paper in the recycling bins. Shredded paper is mostly air and takes a lot of space in the trash cans, you can place bags of shredded paper next to the recycling bins or trash can. Also three ring binders should not be put in the recycling bins, so remove paper and reuse the binders or send the binder to salvage and be sure to remove platic protectors and overhead slides from files before recycling.
IF YOU DIDN’T KNOW ALUMINUM CAN RECYCLING!
There are so many aluminum cans are collected for recycling in many buildings, areas that have aluminum and have blue metal drums or gray can crusher bins for collecting the cans.
Recycling benefits
·         Well-run recycling programs cost less to operate than landfilling.
·         Recycling creates 1.1 million U.S. jobs, also this point can help poor people many of them can have an opportunity having a job.
